Lisa Unger : Simon & Schuster Speakers Bureau

Lisa Unger

New York Times and internationally bestselling author of twelve novels

My most popular talk is The Journey, which centers around the current book, but also encompasses tales and anecdotes about the path I took from aspiring writer to bestselling author. This talk generally runs about a half an hour, but tends to encourage another half hour of questions at least. It’s an interactive hour, to be sure. This talk touches on everything from letting your dreams slip away, to recapturing them, from balancing work and motherhood, to overcoming setbacks. And I tend to tailor for the group, the latest book, and for whatever the agenda of the gathering happens to be.

Unger's Latest Book The Red Hunter:A Novel released April 25th, 2017

“Unger brings her trademark of intense suspense, believable characters and sharp plotting to THE RED HUNTER…a frightening and gripping tale.”

“A meticulously-woven plot, multi-layered characters, and the irony most desired by storytellers: Where the reader can’t wait to see how it ends, but then is remorseful when it does.”
—Sandra Brown, #1 New York Times bestselling author

“One of the best crime novels I’ve read in years. THE RED HUNTER is bold and gritty but with real heart. Unger writes as only the best do, with passion and authenticity.”
—Ace Atkins, NYT bestselling author of Robert B. Parker’s Slow Burn and The Innocents
