S.E. Cupp
Author, Political Columnist, and Conservative Culture Critic
S.E. Cupp is an author, freelance political columnist, and conservative culture critic. She has a regular column in the New York Daily News and on The Daily Caller. She is the author of the book Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity. She is also coauthor of Why You're Wrong About The Right, Behind the Myths: The Surprising Truth About Conservatives. She also has her own radio show on the Glenn Beck Network.
Universities and organizations across the country have invited her to speak about this new generation of conservatives and feminists. A closet conservative in Leftoid Land (aka Manhattan), Cupp injects her own unique and colorful points of view into her presentations for an honest dialogue on conservative ideas in American life and popular culture, drawing from interviews with a roster of renowned writers and political personalities, including Tony Stewart, Tucker Carlson, Brian C. Anderson, Laura Ingraham, Pat Toomey, David Horowitz, Ted Hayes, and many more.
Why You're Wrong About the Right blows the lid off the stereotypes that have long been associated with the American Right, and reveals the face of today's conservatives: an intellectually and philosophically diverse new breed of young, outgoing, smart, friendly, professionals who live and work among liberals everywhere.
In Losing Our Religion, Cupp takes aim at the so-called “mainstream media” and its increasing disdain for Christianity, the faith of 78 percent of Americans. Once-eminent news organizations like The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time, CNN, NBC, and NPR are now engaging in an all-out assault on Christianity, and very few public voices are brave enough to come to its defense.
Cupp's been published in the Washington Post, Newsmax, Slate, Human Events, American Spectator, Townhall.com, FOXNews.com, Sports Illustrated online, Maxim online, NASCAR.com, FrontPage, Detroit Free Press and others. She is also a regular contributor to Politico's "Arena" and The Fox Forum.
Cupp is a regular political commentator and has appeared on FOXNews, MSNBC, CNN, CSPAN, Al Harra and others. She is a regular guest on Hannity, Larry King Live, Fox & Friends, The Joy Behar Show, Geraldo, and Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld. She has been heard on dozens of radio shows, including The Dennis Miller Show, The Mancow Show, The Curtis Sliwa Show, Bubba the Love Sponge, Andrew Wilkow, The Alan Colmes Show, and others. On June 25, 2012, Cupp began co-hosting The Cycle on MSNBC with political strategist Krystal Balll, pop-culture commentator Touré, and senior Salon political writer Steve Kornack
Cupp is a graduate of Cornell University and received a Masters at NYU. She was born in Carlsbad, CA and grew up primarily in Andover, MA. She lives in New York City. Visit her website at Redsecupp.com.
