The BUCKET LIST is finally out!

Well, we done did it, gang. The Bucket List is officially out of my hands and into yours! It's been such a thrill to receive all the positive reader feedback to Lacey's story, from all around the States and beyond. Thank you to everyone who bought a copy, posted a pic, wrote a tweet, attended an event, gave me a hug or told a friend about this book. Your support is invaluable, and I am humbled by every moment of it. Please continue to share and shout it from the rooftops: word of mouth is powerful, and your personal recommendations really matter. On that note, if you have a minute, please do review on Amazon using the link below. Five stars is great, but I'll take what I can get! And if you're book clubbing The Bucket List, know that I can Skype in, or attend in person in NYC.

Indulge your love of literature and Latin American-inspired food and wine in an end-of-summer backyard author event at my favorite Brooklyn restaurant, Colonia Verde. I'll be discussing The Bucket List, while you nibble on a buffet of delicious finger foods and sip crisp summer whites, all in Colonia Verde's gorgeous backyard. Books for sale at the event, or bring your own to get it signed.

This will be such a fun event to bring some pals along too -- stay and have dinner afterward or just enjoy the happy hour! Limited capacity: book early!

In midst of all the book launch madness, I managed to sneak in a quick trip to Lake Tahoe to spend time with my girlfriend's family, and attend my good friends' wedding in Jackson, Wyoming. It was a literal breath of fresh air to get out of New York City and away from my laptop for the week. Grateful for a much-needed recharge, surrounded by natural and actual beauties.

Our outline has been signed off so we're officially working on the pilot for PRETTY! I found this candid from the morning of our pitch to E!, snapped on Feb 7th. Only taken a cool six months to go from sale to script. I'm loving working with co-creator Gail Gilchriest, which makes me lucky -- not everyone clicks with a co-writer. Definitely been challenging balancing a launch and a script, but it's happening!

Generation Women can't stop, won't stop. Our next multi-generational storytelling show is Wednesday September 12th at our beloved Caveat in the LES. Our theme for the night is Little White Lies... Grab a seated or standing room ticket before we sell out! tickets available here.

Aussie ladies unite! On Thursday Sept. 6th, 6.30pm, at Taylor Street Baristas, I'll be in conversation with Australian novelist and my good pal, Lexi Freiman (Inappropriation), for a lively discussion about literature and making a living a novelist in New York City. RSVP and more info here. Buy tix here. Big thanks to Australian Women in New York (AWNY) for presenting.

Sydney, I'm a-coming for you! I'll be in my home city next month for my brother's wedding (congrats Will and Louise!), and am fitting a few fun events in too. I'll be at the bookstore Better Read than Dead in Newtown on Tuesday September 25th, for Bad Women #2: Female Likeability in Fiction & IRL. RSVP for a free ticket (and more info) here. And I'll be performing an original story at our sister show, Generation Women Sydney, at Giant Dwarf on Friday September 28th. Grab a ticket here, and let's get a drink afterwards!

WOW, what a whirlwind month! Again, thank you so much for buying and celebrating The Bucket List, in all the ways that you do. It might sound like a cliche to say "I can't do this without you", but because I make my living on book sales, I literally can't do all this without your support.

Love you, and see you soon!

Georgia xx
