Brady Boyd is the Senior Pastor of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he has served for over ten years. Before that, he served at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, for almost seven years. Born and raised in Louisiana, he attended Louisiana Tech University where he graduated with a degree in journalism and was the sports editor of his college newspaper. He has also been a radio announcer for professional baseball and basketball teams.
Under Boyd’s leadership, New Life Church has grown to six different congregations across Colorado Springs, serving thousands. The unique team teaching method that Boyd and New Life follow has become a model for churches around the world. He is also the author of six books, including Addicted to Busy, Let Her Lead, and Speak Life. His forthcoming book is called Remarkable: Living a Faith Worth Talking About, in which he draws parallels between the early church and today’s culture to illustrate how Christians can stay true to their beliefs and live a loving and faith-filled life.
Boyd’s passion for the Colorado Springs community led him to open numerous Dream Centers in Colorado which provide support and services to women and children experiencing homelessness. With a proven five-year plan, the centers aim to empower women and children to break out of the cycle of poverty, learning the skills and tools they need to survive and thrive independently within the community.
Boyd is the cohost of The Essential Church Podcast. He has also hosted conferences including the New Life Conference, the Desperation Conference, and The Gathering. He lives in Colorado Springs with his college sweetheart, Pam, and their two children.
