We work with a wide variety of clients, such as schools, universities, libraries, literary festivals, corporations, associations, and more. We are committed to helping our clients find the right speaker for their audience.
What is the benefit of working with a speakers bureau?
Our team will work with you on every stage of the event planning process. We will make sure you have the tools and resources to successfully host your speaker. From the initial discussion about honorarium and contracts to assisting with travel and logistics, we have in-depth knowledge about our speakers and can anticipate any needs or concerns.
How can I find out more information about a speaker’s availability and fees?
Please submit an inquiry through our website and our lecture agents will share information about the speaker you are interested in hosting.
How much does it cost to host a speaker at an event?
Our speakers’ honorariums depend on a number of factors, including availability, length of the engagement, and amount of travel required. Our team can help you find a speaker within your budget.
Can your bureau help me find a speaker that is not on your list?
Yes, please let us know if you do not see the speaker you are interested in on our website. While we represent a select roster of Simon & Schuster authors, we can still work with you on any speaker you may be interested in hosting.
Can you put me in touch with a speaker directly?
Unfortunately, we cannot disclose our speakers’ personal contact information due to privacy concerns and liability. If you have a specific message for one of our speakers, we will do our best to relay your note.
I am not inquiring about a paid speaking opportunity, but I am interested in an interview with one of your speakers. Can you help me?
Please submit an inquiry through our website (here) and outline the details of your interview request. We will do our best to forward your inquiry to the speaker’s publicity team for consideration.
I am planning an event, but do not have a specific speaker in mind. Can you give me suggestions?
Yes, we are always happy to share a list of speaker suggestions. It is helpful for us to know more about your event, including the event topic, anticipated audience, date and schedule, and your budget range. This will allow us to provide a more tailored list of ideas for your consideration.
Will I be able to connect with a speaker prior to the event?
Some speakers are happy to schedule a pre-event conference call with the event organizers, but it varies and depends on their availability. Since our speakers are often traveling for events, their availability for pre-event phone calls may be limited. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can you help arrange a book sale or signing at my event?
Yes, we are always happy to help facilitate a book sale or signing. We endeavor to make books available at all of our speakers’ events. We can help you determine the best option for your event, whether that is having a local bookseller sell books or purchasing books for giveaway or resale.
Can I record a speaker’s presentation?
Our lecture agents will discuss with you the kinds of video and audio recordings that are permissible for the speaker you are requesting. Each speaker has specific recording terms that we follow.
